2020 년 7 월 중순 이후,이 지표는 강력한 경제 회복과 상품에 대한 내수 수요 증가에 힘 입어 2019 년 7월 기록했던 최고 기록인 195.3을 상회하였습니다.
이 지수는 4 월 1 일 168.96을 저점으로 저점을 기록하기도 했습니다. 이는 기록적인 낮은 에너지 가격과 함께 코로나(COVID-19)으로 인한 주요 경제의 세계적 봉쇄로 인해 원자재에 대한 외부 수요가 침체되면서 지수에 상당한 하방압력으로 작용했기 때문입니다.
Caixin's China Commodity Index Reaches Historic High
China Commodity Index, published by Caixin Insight and Gresham Investment Management, hit 206.36 on August 6 - the highest level since the index was calculated. Since mid-July 2020, the indicator stays above its previous record high of 195.3 registered in July 2019, driven by the strong economic recovery and the growing domestic demand for commodities. The index hit a bottom of 168.96 on April 1, as the depressed external demand for commodities due to the world-wide lockdown of the major economies along with the record-low energy prices had significant downward pressure on the index.
