전 세계 코로나 바이러스 감염으로 인한 사망자 수는 864,000 명을 돌파했으며, 2,610 만 건 이상의 감염 사례가 발견되었으며, 그 중 1,730 만 명 이상이 치료되었다고 밝혔습니다.

백악관 대변인 Kayleigh McEnany는 기자들에게 주류 언론이 주장하는 것처럼 다가오는 11 월 3 일 대선 전에 누구에게도 신종 코로나 바이러스 백신을 승인하라는 압력을 식품의 약국 (FDA)이 압박하고 있지 않다고 말했습니다.

러시아 보건부의 새로운 COVID-19 지침에 따르면, 코로나 바이러스 감염 치료를 위해 6 가지 약물을 처방 권장하며, 의료위원회의 결정에 따라 사용이 허용됩니다. 프랑스의 사노피와 영국의 GSK라는 두 개의 다국적 제약 회사가 공동 개발 한 COVID-19 백신의 1/2 상 임상 시험 시작했다고 발표하기도 했습니다. 

 

WHO가 주도하여, 효과적인 코로나 바이러스 백신의 개발과 공정한 배포를 가속화하기 위해 설립한 글로벌 COVAX 시설을 통해, 백신이 개발되면 아프리카 인구의 최소 20 %는 COVID-19에 대한 무료 백신을 제공 받게 될 것이라고 합니다. 

 

많은 유수의 글로벌 제약회사들이 백신 개발에 힘을 쏟고 있는데요. 정말 이들의 계획대로 늦어도 내년 상반기에는 전세계적으로 백신이 공급되어 코로나를 극복할 수 있는 시간이 빨리 왔으면 하는 바램입니다.
